Meet Dr. Nicholas A. Lavoie
Pediatric Laser Tongue-Tie Specialist

Dr. Lavoie is a board-certified pediatric dentist who has been providing personalized patient care in the Southcoast Massachusetts and Rhode Island area for over a decade. In addition to the Tongue Tie Center, he is proud owner of Lavoie Pediatric Dentistry. Prior to dentistry, he was a Registered Nurse and worked at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He also holds master's degrees in Public Health and Public Policy.

Dr. Lavoie has been the recipient of the Massachusetts Dental Society’s “Top Ten Under 10” award and was voted one of the “Top 40 Under 40” US Dentists by Incisal Edge Magazine, both in recognition of his commitment to exceptional patient care and contribution to the local dental community. Dr Lavoie maintains his professional affiliations and stays current with the latest trends in the industry as an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the College of Diplomates.

In his spare time, Dr. Lavoie enjoys being home with his wife Katy and their two beautiful daughters. They love nature and wildlife, and are always looking for a new hike or place to picnic with a view!
